Sustainability & Ethics

Jewellery has always been tied to the earth through the metals and stones it uses, and through the human hands that bring it to life. We see sustainability not as a single achievement, but as an ongoing responsibility.

Love necklace in the making

We work almost exclusively with 'above ground metals'. Working predominantly with recycled silver, reducing our reliance on newly mined metals and giving existing materials new life.

Our designs are made in small batches and to order, minimising waste and encouraging thoughtful purchasing.

The jewellery industry is complex, and there is always more to learn. We are committed to moving forward with transparency, asking better questions of ourselves and our partners, and making choices that honour the planet and the people who inhabit it.

Our Factories

Our jewellery is crafted by third-generation silversmiths and highly skilled independent ateliers in Indonesia. We work factories in Portugal, Cyprus and Italy for some pieces - where heritage techniques are preserved through meticulous handcraft. Every partner shares our commitment to precision, care, and responsible practice.

Founder Elena with our craftsman

We partner only with workshops that uphold fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for every maker. For smaller teams, maintaining formal certifications can be cost-prohibitive, which is why we’ve taken an active role in supporting them, funding independent audits, and working together on clear, actionable plans to strengthen ethical and environmental practices year after year.

For us, ethical production is not a static standard but a living commitment - one we revisit and refine with every collection, building a chain of integrity from the first touch of metal to the moment your piece is in your hands.

When you wear it, you carry not only its design and intention, but the care and respect woven into every step of its making.
