A note from our Founder.

As a young girl in Cyprus, I'd dive into the crystal clear Mediterranean sea and marvel at the world below - swathes of posidonia seagrass meadows blanketing the coast, creating habitat, capturing carbon, producing oxygen, and filtering the waters I loved so dearly.

Today, seagrass habitats around the world are desperately diminished. In coastal New South Wales, populations of posidonia australis are so depleted that six meadows adjacent to Sydney are now listed as endangered - with fears of local extinction at some sites within 15 years.

Our support of Operation Posidonia is my small way of giving back to the sea. Elena Elena is proud to donate a portion of every sale to Operation Posidonia, a brilliant project actively protecting and restoring these critically important seagrass meadows in coastal NSW.

As we grow, so too does our commitment, to protect what sustains us, and to honour the waters that connect us all.
